When I have a litter available I will respond to my emails daily.....When I DO NOT have a litter I take a brake from responding to my emails daily, so it may take up to a month before I respond to your email.
(Please put a subject on your email...otherwise I may not read it. If you do not get a response from me within 1 month...please try again...sometimes the emails get sent to my junk/spam folder!!!)

This is our home!! We are located in beautiful Northern California (Janesville). We are approximately one hour from Reno and 3.5 hours from Sacramento.
We DO NOT ship our precious puppies. For a small fee we do deliver our puppies to the Reno, NV area. Many of our families that are from Southern California or Oregon have flown into Reno, NV to pick up their puppy and then fly right back with the puppy as a carry on. It is the fastest and safest way to bring your new puppy home if you live too far to drive.
All our Shih Tzu puppies are raised in the house. We NEVER kennel our puppies outside. They are a part of our family and they are with us 24/7 until they go to their new families!

Scam Alert!!!
I have been told that someone is using this website and my puppies to scam people. I am extremely upset about this, so here are a few things to look for:
1. I DO NOT use any other email but the one on my contact page. It is: elegantshihtzu@hotmail.com. If you are contacted through any other email it is a scam...even if they have the name elegant shih tzu in the email address. If I ever have to contact you through a different email I will post it on this website.
2. I only use the phone number 530-253-1299. If someone else is contacting you through a different phone number....it is a scam.
3. I DO NOT usually advertise on any newspaper, social media platform. (Unless noted on Available Puppies page). I only use this website, AKC website and word of mouth. If you see anything that advertise my puppies other than this website, AKC.com and it's not mentioned on my "Available Puppies" page....it is a scam.
4. I will ALWAYS update my website if I have puppies available. If someone says they have puppies they are trying to sell/adopt and you look on this website and it does not say I have puppies available....it is a scam.
5. I DO NOT ever ship my puppies!!!
6. I will never ask for gift cards as payment.
7. If for any reason you are worried about someone trying to pose as me, please email me at the email above and I will verify if it is me.
I hope these precautions help weed out these awful people that are trying to scam you. I take pride in my puppies and to hear someone is trying to use my website for their own gain is disheartening!!!
